HELP ANIMALS COUNT GROW NATIONWIDE
Animals Count contested the 4th June EU elections in the Eastern region. Not only did we receive 13,201 votes, we recruited a lot of new members and supporters. You could help us raise our profile even more across the UK. For example:
- By organising a meeting:
- Debate, or invite one of us for a debate, and invite the other side too
- Screening of the Meat the Truth DVD (which shows the link between the environmentally-damaging livestock industry and global warming) - Contact the media:
- Local paper interview: why you are supporting Animals Count
- Local radio interview
- Comment on animal stories and mention Animals Count - Tell your mates about Animals Count:
- Distribute leaflets, e.g. on the street, or by placing them in health food shops, veggie restaurants, libraries, veterinary clinics, etc.
- Post messages on online forums about animals, the environment, politics, etc.
- Forward Animals Count video clips - Use your skills for Animals Count
- Could you spare 1% or 10% for animals?
- Help with admin, the website, designing ads and banners, getting involved in a local political campaign, staffing stalls and distributing merchandise, suggesting stories for the website or helping with anything else you're good at.
